23 Weeks: My baby has a sense of humor!

With only a few weeks away from starting my third trimester, I’m beginning to slow down. According to my peeps at BabyCenter, my baby is about the size of a LARGE mango. For some reason, I think this kid is gonna be a tall one. The ultrasound tech says that she can tell by the length of the bones. I guess we’ll see if we’re right. Big sis towers over most children her age or older. So, this one has a great chance! If you’re interested, A Date With Baby enables expectant parents in Toronto and Newmarket to cherish an up-close view of their baby’s development.

Speaking of big sis, she’s super excited. I think she’s finally starting to understand that we’ll have a new edition to our family soon. Princess is always talking about her “brothersister,” and offering up her toys. I can tell they’ll both have a lot in common. My little girl is always into something.

I can tell little bro/sis will be a busy one too – always moving around in there. Sometimes I think my mango knows what’s going on. If I laugh at a joke, the flutters I feel are a clear indication that I’m not the only one laughing.

How I’m feeling: Lazy! I worked out throughout my first pregnancy. This time around I’ve been pretty sedentary. I think it’s because of  the horrible weather we’ve had. Plus, my schedule has been pretty intense. Hopefully, that’ll change as the weather gets warmer here in NY. I’m one of a few who enjoys being preggo in the heat. I can’t wait to enjoy the warm outdoors.

What time of the year were you pregnant? Did you enjoy the weather?

Ahhh..how exciting. I found out we we’re having our twinsin November. I can’t imagine being pregnant twice. I think I would be the same way. There’s no way your energy level could match what it was the first time with a little one running around. I was on bed red towards the end and couldn’t ever go downstairs to do dishes so my cowboy had to do it all. I remember feeling like it was the worst…now I know those were good times 🙂

    Congrats to you all!
