Curly Hairstyle of the Week: Flipped Ponytail Fishtail Braid

Princess normally likes to rock a wash and go during summer months. But sometimes she likes to wear her curly hair in what she often refers to as the “Elsa braid.” I’ve come up with variations and my favorite version is the flipped ponytail fishtail braid. It’s our curly hairstyle of the week!

It actually looks a lot harder than it is. This style can be achieve in six easy steps.

Flipped Ponytail Fishtail Braid Tutorial

1. Start with a ponytail.

2. Use your finger to make a hole at the base of the ponytail.

3. Flip the ponytail over by pushing hair through the hole.

4. Separate ponytail into sections to begin the fishtail braid.

5. When you get to the end, secure with an elastic.

6. Pull fishtail braid apart on either side to add volume (optional).
