Even though I do not have the “relax or not to relax” dilema I appreciated the clip for its entertainment value…..The pre-natural workout schedule was a hoot! Janasia and “pooch” (lol)
You are too funny naming your wig! I hear you on scheduling your workouts with a relaxer. When I was working I’d go weekly to get my hair done and before I was married, worked out 5 days a week with a relaxer when I used to live in Boston so didn’t mind sweating my relaxer out cause I knew I was getting it done. I even envy my LO’s curls and how easy it is to wash and go as she’s natural. I look forward to transitioning again in the future! Thanks for the update =)
Peeking from SITS! I thoroughly enjoyed this video/blog! I definatly can relate! I schedule my showers around my workout routines & I schedule my workout routines around the days I need a shower! To funny 🙂 I feel how at ease you are with transitioning! I hope it continues to allow you to enjoy things in a different light! Cheers!
Isn’t it fabulous to not let your hair control you! I love my short natural quaff. It’s healthy, easy to maintain and I do what I want to do. Love it. Great video 🙂

Even when i was permed I could care less. I never really liked my hair too straight. But I can tell you this my exercise schedule is ridiculous. I work out 5 days a week doing of all things, Bikram yoga, yes hot yoga in 107degree heat and humidity and I love it and my natural hair loves it too. So women never let your hair get in the way, even when I was permed I notice that there would not be a lot of black girls in the gym. I would have to beg some people to go with me, but you are right, they schedule their gym routine around their hair.
I heard Bikram yoga is pretty intense. I would love to try that. Now that my hair is natural, I shouldn’t have a problem keeping my style. If I had a relaxer, I’d avoid it. You are so right. Not a lot of black girls there. lol

I know what you mean about the little one. I shampoo, condition, scrunch, and air dry. Back in the day my mom did twist outs and chiny bumps.
