I wouldn’t exactly call myself a ‘funvac.’ I can take a a joke. But when someone says or does something in poor taste, you won’t catch me laughing.
One French mom apparently thought it would be funny to send her tot to school wearing am ‘I am a bomb T-shirt.‘ According to the NY Daily News, Bouchra Bagour claimed that her son, Jihad, got the shirt as a gift from his uncle.
Now the mother is on trial in France for glorifying a crime. According to reports, Bagour defended the controversial shirt and claimed that she thought it would make people laugh. Her son so happened to be born on September 11 and she told the court that she wanted to highlight his birthday, not the year.
There’s nothing funny about thousands of innocent people dying. The thought of making a joke out of September 11th is unfathomable. After reading this article I was left feeling so angry. Not only did this mom make a mockery out of a serious situation, she’s already teaching her son how to be heartless. Shame on her.
