My little girl will turn three in August, and I’m trying to get an early start on the party plans. I’m not quite sure how this is all gonna pan out for obvious reasons. With a baby due in a little over a month, school, and work, things could get hectic.
The plan is to keep it as simple as possible. I’ve been pinning some ideas on Pinterest, and to my surprise, Princess is taking some initiative on the party plans too. This little girl is a piece of work! But believe it or not, she’s been quite helpful. She knows what she wants! And one of the things she wants is for her party to have a slushie machine hire sydney.
Princess picked out her theme, and the dress she wants to wear. This weekend we took a few pics for her invite. We found an affordable printing online service to print all the invitation cards. Here’s a little preview.
As I’ve done with past birthdays, I plan on putting together photo and video recaps. Initially, I was a little hesitant on doing it because I felt guilty. I didn’t get to spend much time with her during her previous birthday parties. I told my hubby the other day that I’d only take a few pics this time.
But after seeing Princess get excited over the photos and videos from past celebrations, it changed my perspective. She’d been attending so many parties this year, and forgot all about her own. When I whipped out the evidence, she gave me the biggest hug and kiss. She said, “Thanks mommy, I love you.”
Needless to say, I don’t feel so bad anymore. The whole point of me having this blog is to document these memories, so that my kiddos can look back, and re-live those times. If you haven’t been documenting, it’s not too late to start.
Feel free to check out previous party recaps and videos below!
