Baby O turned six months this weekend. This moment is bittersweet. While I’m so elated that he’s growing nicely, there are times that I wish he’d stay a baby forever. I love the infancy stage. There’s something about milestones like blowing raspberries, sitting up, and cooing that makes me a giddy parent.
I’m proud to say that Baby O has conquered another milestone; eating solids. We started off with a couple teaspoons of rice mixed in with a couple ounces of breast milk. He gobbled it up like a champ, and tried to eat the spoon. I can’t wait to puree some fruits and veggies!

I hear ya, my younger son just crossed the 7 month mark this past week, and it’s all going so fast! Eating solids, sitting up, now he’s doing the “military” crawl…well roll, scoot and reach…but crawling, standing, walking… *sigh* it’s all just a blink away!
