How I Heal My Kids’ Owies and Boo-Boos (Giveaway)

siblings

Nowadays, you’ll find my kids chasing after each other. In case you haven’t noticed, Baby O recently started walking. So, you can imagine he’s still a bit wobbly. The other day I received a call that he fell at daycare. My mom and Princess were there to pick him up and saw it happen. Thankfully, they were there to soothe him. I later checked in at home to see how he was doing. My mom told me his chin was a little red and he refused to ice it. This is what his chin looked like the next morning.

When it comes to my babies skin, I avoid using harsh products. I applied a dab of Boiron Calendula Ointment to the area. It’s a cream that’s supposed moisturized his wound without irritating it. It’s also great for burns, diaper rash, blisters, and chafing. The company even makes a Calendula Gel that I’ve been using on Princess’s insect bites.

I developed a stock pile of these kinds of products to use whenever necessary. Baby O’s bruise is getting better and it seems like whenever Princess’s bug bites goes away, she gets another. I’ve come to the realization that she just enjoys the soothing feeling of the gel, which is ok by me. Boiron products are homeopathic, so the ingredients are not as strong as what you’d find in conventional brands.

The products are gentle enough for their sensitive skin. It’s unscented and has no artificial colors or perfumes, which reduces the chance of an allergic reaction. I break out from so many different types of cosmetics. The other day I tried the Calendula Lotion for the first time and it made my skin so soft.

Boiron has an array of different homeopathic products for kids and adults, and would like to giveaway some products to a Weather Anchor Mama reader. All the information can be found below.
