It seems as though we spent the entire month of October celebrating Halloween. There were a couple visits to the pumpkin patch – one of them being Princess’s first school field trip, where I served as a chaperone.
There was also her first visit to a haunted house, which left me in stitches. Oh, we can’t forget the Halloween extravaganza that our town hosts each year. Princess met up with a few of her school buddies.
Fast forward to the morning of Halloween, and I had the challenge of getting both kids ready and out the door in time for Princess’s Halloween class party. It was a rough start, considering I overslept. I snapped a few photos of the kids before we hit the road.
We managed to get to school before the real party got started. There was dancing and trick-or-treating. Princess had a blast and so did Young O. He decided to crash the party.
My hubby later took the kids trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with one of Princess’s classmates.
The fun continued the following morning at dance class. The kids were asked to wear costumes. Since her gown was a bit long, we decided on her Elsa costume, which gave her more freedom to bust a move.
Now that Halloween is over, we are already gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I can’t believe how quickly the time is flying. Before you know it, it’ll be 2015.
What were your kids for Halloween?
