One thing I love about meeting other parents is chatting about where to find the best deals for kids. I look forward to Princess’s dance classes every weekend because I always leave knowing how to bargain shop for kids clothes.
One mom told me she visits consignment shops and thrift stores for her daughter’s princess dresses. Despite having interviewed a few consignment shop owners as a feature reporter and being in awe at the amazing prices, I never thought to go there.

I remember being in my last trimester and looking for a cute dress for Princess to wear for our family photo shoot. We got this pink number from Gymboree, along with her hair accessory.
