What it’s Really Like to be a Parent

If you’re raising little ones, then you know what it’s really like to be a parent. You’re sleep deprived and you’re always worried for your kids’ safety. But there’s a lot more to it. For those of you gearing up to join the club, here’s a snip it of what you’re in for.

My husband and I were in the middle of recording our interracial couples chat when we were interrupted by our kids.

You’d think by now we shouldn’t be fazed by their antics, but that’s totally not the case. Here’s a quick rundown of just some of the things we’ve gone through with our kids.

What it’s Really Like to be a Parent

Setting off the alarm

Breaking up arguments

There’s no denying their tight sibling bond. But it seems like the older they get, the more they fight. We also spend a lot of time putting an end to disagreements. From the moment we wake up every morning it’s, “He did this to me!” “She’s being mean to me!” It never stops!

Having a messy house

No matter how hard we try the house is never clean. It’s not like we have garbage strewn everywhere. We’re not that nasty. However, looking down while walking through our house will save you from tripping over toys and gadgets, while having kids is also important to have an extra clean house free of pests as these are a health hazard for kids so getting the right services is important for this, click here for more info. If you need an expert to assist you, contact Athens OH pest control companies to maintain a healthy and sustainable environment.

We’ve accumulated so much clutter over the years it’s ridiculous. We try our best to get rid of our children’s old stuff, but it’s hard to stay on top of it. We might have to rent a self storage unit to lessen the clutter in our home. We heard good things about Simplex Storage Units.

Kids are always getting hurt

Kids are always getting bumps and bruises. Let’s hope we don’t get accused of child abuse.

Our daughter is the kind of kid who falls sitting down. When she was about 18 months old, she broke her arm. Just a couple months ago, she fell flat on her face at the park. As you can see in the video above, she’s always getting into some kind of mischief.

However, no matter how much trouble our kids get into we love them. Going through all the drama is what being a parent is all about. So every time your kids make you lose your cool, just know you’re not alone.
