prAna:Travel Checklist You Can’t Live Without

After much debate, my husband and I finally decided to surprise our kids with a trip to Jamaica this summer. As you know traveling involves a lot of planning, especially when traveling with little ones. I like to make a travel checklist of must have items to make sure we have everything we need.

When it comes to getting on a plane, comfort is extremely important. I was able to get a couple of traveling essentials from prAna to make flying so much easier.

prAna Travel Checklist

Being in such a confined space for a few hours isn’t easy. Believe it or not, having the right wardrobe when traveling is super important.

There’re always varying temperatures to have to contend with. One minute it’s hot and the next minute it’s cold. The prAna sage convertible pant is the perfect choice for traveling.

The lightweight hemp material makes it easy to move around. It’s fashionable, comfortable and versatile. The removable pant legs are an added bonus. If I get hot, I can easy unzip and go.

prAna designs clothing that looks good, but is versatile enough for any lifestyle and adventure. It’s common for consumers to wear their prAna gear anywhere from business to casual occasions.

Since we’ll be heading to Jamaica, I want to make sure I also have cute summer dresses in my suitcase. It’s hard to find dresses to fit my pear shaped figure.

Straps tend to fall easily off my shoulders. But the prAna Shauna Dress has a V-neck and racerback to hug my top half perfectly. The bottom half flares out giving my hips and thighs room to breathe.

If you’ve ever been to Jamaica, then you know how warm it can get. I like to spend a lot of time at the beach. This dress is made from 45% recycled materials. The fabric is stretchy and quick-drying. It’s also a great cover up for my swimsuits.

Now that I have my main wardrobe pieces, here are a few other must have travel items when traveling with children.

Travel Checklist You Can’t Live Without

Bug repellent
This is a must have item, especially when traveling to the Caribbean.

First aid
Keeping bandages and ointments on hand is another must have item, especially if you have little ones. It seems like every time we go away someone’s always getting a boo boo.

Electronics
I like to travel with my smart phone and laptop to blog and keep up with social media. Tablets make traveling with children hassle free. It kept our kids occupied during our last flight. Also, be sure to pack chargers. If you’re traveling with a DSLR camera, don’t forget extra batteries and memory cards. There’s so much to capture on the 2024 Danube Express train holidays.

Books

There are usually lots of activities to keep our kids busy throughout the day. But they enjoy reading books before bedtime.

Swimsuits
If you’re headed to the tropics, don’t forget swim essentials. Plus, you can never be too careful when it comes to your exposure to the sun. We usually carry few bottles of sunscreen to make sure we never run out.

Toiletries
You’d be surprised by how easy it is forget toothpaste and a tooth brush. Be sure to pack toiletries needed for day to day hygiene.

Sundresses and other weather appropriate clothing
This is a staple for me in the summer. It’s super easy to throw on a sundress with sandals for any occasion. It’s also important to check the weather forecast for your destination and pack accordingly. Make sure to also dress appropriately for desert safari dubai.

So when you’re planning your next trip, be sure to make a travel checklist. If you’re flying international, don’t forget your passport and also make sure your items meet security guidelines.
