Princess starts kindergarten this week and coming up with cute curly hairstyles is on my to-do-list. When it comes to caring for her biracial hair, keeping curls moisturized is key. As the mercury drops, low manipulation is also important to maintaining healthy hair. So for our Curly Hairstyle of the Week check out this infinity braid tutorial.
Achieving this style is pretty simple and it can also be worn several ways. The infinity braid is easy to do, once you get the hang of it.
1. Start by spraying hair with water and add your favorite styling product.
2. Separate hair into three sections (make sure the top sections is a little smaller than the other parts).
3. Begin the infinity braid like a regular braid, but the only difference is that you should be focusing on the smallest section. Use that section to make a figure eight.
4. Don’t worry. If you run out of hair, you can borrow from another section.
5. Once you’ve completed your braids, add your favorite hair accessory.
As I mentioned above, this style can be worn in different ways. In the featured photo, we chose to let her curls loose in the back. As you can see in the pictures below, we continued with the infinity braid. Whatever way you choose to rock it, I’m sure your little one will look super cute.
