5 Easy Half Up Half Down Curly Hairstyles
Half up half down side ponytail
Part the hair into two sections. Wrap a satin band around the top half to keep hair out of the face. I recommend using satin bands to prevent breakage. It also stops hair from drying out.
Dressy half up half down curly hairstyle
Part the hair into two sections. Dress up the look by adding a cute accessory. As you can see in the video, I secured the bottom section in order to get the clip in place. Be careful about choosing accessorIes that won’t pull out your little one’s curls.
Bantu knot half up half down curly hairstyle
Begin by parting the hair into two sections. Then divide the top section into two even parts. Create a Bantu knot on either side. Secure with an elastic band and add a cute accessory to spice up this hairstyle.
Braided tieback curly hairstyle
I created two even top sections like we did with the Bantu knot hairstyle. Braid each side, secure with an elastic and add a cute bow to hide the bands.
Dutch braid half up half down hairstyle
Make a small section using a rat tail comb at the front of the head. Then create a Dutch braid half way down the length of the hair. Secure the section with an elastic and add a bow to finish off the cute curly hairstyle.

When it comes to cute curly hairstyles for little curls, keep it simple. Also, be careful when choosing hair accessories. Most importantly, carefully remove them at the end of the day. Personally, I don’t allow my daughter to sleep with hair clips and bows to protect her curls from breakage.
