Despite my daughter’s out going personality, I wasn’t sure how she would react to the first day of kindergarten. As far as I’m concerned, she’s been attending school since she was three-months-old and yes, I do consider day care school. If your school wants to integrate outdoor learning, Playground Markings can be a great asset. Make sure to hire Trusted line painting contractors for this.
She’s accustomed to being around other students, taking direction, and learning in a classroom environment that may include helpful features such as Floor Markings. So when I received the checklist of things to work on at her kindergarten screening earlier this summer, I knew she’d be fine.
Princess has conquered her New Year’s goal of “being better” at brushing her teeth. She also does a great job of tying her shoes, dressing herself, and making her bed. I’m proud of her accomplishments and her willingness to do things by herself.
In fact, she’s proven her independence when she asked me to go on a field trip without me. For the past year, I’ve been chaperoning her school trips and bowed out of the last one. I felt that the important lessons that I’ve taught her these past few years have paid off. I knew she was ready to go alone.
Now that she’s moving up to kindergarten, I know that she’ll do great.
To be honest, I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t be there to drop her off because I was called in to work. But luckily, my call time was later in the afternoon which allowed plenty of time to drop her off in the morning.
To celebrate the big day, I took out my camera and pressed record. There was no way I could have passed up the opportunity to document this milestone.
As it turns out, it was a day of many first. It was also Princess’s first time riding the train and subway.
So here it is. Check out her reaction to the first day of kindergarten. Please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to our YouTube channel.
