Congrats on starting your natural hair journey. I hope you stick with it. It’ll be challenging but hang in there :). BTW, I was born and raised in Spanish Town and moved to NY when I was 11. Where in JA are you from?
New follower.. I peeped your blog through Baby Making Machine. Big Ups to you that you’re going natural, this has been something that I’ve been debating about forever. I have a lot of thoughts going through my mind about it like “what if this” or “what if that”, and my fiancee does not like the idea of me thinking about going natural AT ALL!!! But I am always looking for hair care and beauty tips. I’ve actually heard of that product you’ve mentioned in your video, but never used it. I am currently using Jane Carter, and I LOVE IT.. it DOES NOT weigh my hair down (big plus in my book) and I love the way my hair feels when I use the hair care line.
Thanks for stopping by Lena! I also debated for a long time, and finally decided to make a change. I remember when I first mentioned it to my hubby. He looked at me like I was weird. He asked, “what’s it gonna look like?” I guess that’s a fair question considering he’s never seen me in my natural state.lol
I’ve only used the nourish and shine from Jane Carter. I’m thinking of trying the scalp nourishing serum for my dry scalp. Have you used it? Thanks so much again. Let me know if you ever change your mind and decide to go natural!
P.S. Why doesn’t your fiance want you to go natural?
Your Welcome! I’ve only used the Jane Carter Nourish and Shine so far and it;s great. But I am definitely going Natural by spring of Next Year, a couple of months after my wedding. My fiancee does not agree with it because he does not like the way the hair looks.. he is so used to my hair being relaxed (him too haven’t seen me in my natural hair), but I finally talked him into it, and he understands and supports, but I know in the back of his mind he is saying something else lol. But I am doing my research and asking my around about going natural, because I do not want to cut it all off.
Me either! Can’t do the big chop! It’s been almost 4 weeks. I’m feeling some roots and I don’t feel the need to pick up the phone and set that appointment. That’s a good sign! Keep me posted on you journey. It’s always nice to have support.
I’m sure sure fiance will love your natural hair!:)

Thank You, I will definitely keep you posted when I start next year. But in the mean time, I am still doing the salon every 2 weeks for my hair 🙂
