When I found out that Princess was invited to two parties in one day, I asked my hubby how we’d be able to pull this off. At two years old, her entire class had already been talking about this birthday party. I’d feel bad if she didn’t go.
With work and being pregnant, I was pooped. There was no way I’d be able to do a quick turnaround and attend a party for tots at 10 a.m. My hubby graciously offered to accompany her, while I stayed home and rested a bit. She had such a great time. I’m so glad she got to hang with her friends.
After party number one, I was wondering if Princess would have enough energy to attend Princess theme party number two (which was an hour and a half drive). Within a 20 minutes of the car ride, she was completely knocked out. But, was re-energized for some more fun activities once we got there.
I thought for sure she’d crash again. But, she was having so much fun and didn’t want to leave. I must have been operating on fumes myself. By the time we got home, it was a wrap. We ended the weekend with a belated Valentines Day dinner.
