There are so many ways to say Happy Father’s Day. Yet it’s so difficult to choose the right gift for dad. Even though I look forward to celebrating Father’s Day every year, I can’t say it’s always smooth sailing.
Choosing a gift for my hubby has always been a big challenge, no matter the holiday. This Father’s Day was no different. So, I took to Facebook to get some advice from my friends. I asked whether or not a gift certificate for a massage would be a good idea. After getting mixed responses, I decided to get a card good for shopping or a spa treatment.
Since he’s been complaining of stress, I figured he’d go for a massage. Boy, was I wrong. He took one look at the gift card and said he’d be going shopping.
I guess you can say that my gift was sort of a hit. Princess and I also bought his favorite biscuits and a Father’s Day card, which she picked out all by herself.
The plan was to give him the day off from household chores and what not. But, that didn’t last. Like the perfect Daddy and husband he is, my boo still managed to do the grocery shopping, laundry, and some cleaning. I did as much as I can. However, this growing baby pumped the brakes on me. I managed to make breakfast, clean the bathroom, kitchen, and make dinner. That’s all my body could handle.

No matter how you decided to wish the dad in your life Happy Father’s Day, I’m sure he’ll appreciate the effort and always try to get the kids involved.
