Must-See Video: This mom makes pole dancing while babywearing look easy

Pole dancing mom, Ashley Wright, takes babywearing to a whole new level as she brings her two-year-old daughter along for the ride, making pole dancing while babywearing look easy.

“Shannon loves being in the sling/wraps/or any carrier with me, while walking or dancing,” Ashley tells BabyCenter.

WEATHER ANCHOR MAMA BABYWEARING POLE DANCING

Before their pole dancing exercise, the California mom gets her little one a snack, entertainment (ABC videos on Mommy’s cell) and makes sure her daughter’s head and neck are secure inside the wrap.

It’s scary when you think about it, but seeing the video erases any doubt that this tot is hurt or uncomfortable.

This dancing mom puts me to shame. Pole dancing while babywearing would be a murder suicide mission as far as I’m concern. The most I can do is a one-two-step while holding my 18-month-old.

I find it interesting that she has the strength to do it. But, is she setting a good example for her daughter? Some may say no, but I think it’s great. I know some people think stripper when they see a woman dancing on a pole, but I think it’s art. Pole dancing takes strength and endurance.

Ashley describes herself as a Badass Breastfeeding, Babywearing, Attachment parenting, Pole dancing, Yogi Mama who inspires and motivates men, women, Families HER WAY! She’s certainly an inspiration to me.

I think what she does is fine. What bothered me more was the way her baby’s head was being whipped around at one time. I was more concerned about the baby getting whiplash. Other than that, I thought it was fine. Just maybe she should make sure the baby’s neck is supported more as she does the quick turns.

Wow! I am very impressed. Just watched the video. I think of it as an art and exercise form. I used to take a class but never was focused enough to learn anything real.
    She is definitely strong!

Yes, I was worried about that too. She says that the baby is neatly tucked and both head and neck are protected. One can only hope that’s the case.
