CurlyKids®: How to Keep Naturally Curly Hairstyles Fresh

When it comes to keeping naturally curly hairstyles fresh during summer months, moisturizing is key. CurlyKids® Haircare Products is great for adding moisture without weighing Princess’s curls down.

I’ll usually spend at least a half hour deep conditioning her hair every week. But let’s face it; between work, studies, household duties, and being a wife and mom, I don’t always have time. That said, I find myself cutting corners.

I feel like the CurlyKids® line was designed for moms like me who are short on time, but don’t want to sacrifice quality. I certainly don’t want my daughter’s curls to suffer because I’m swamped.

This weekend was no different. We had a jam packed schedule and a lot of ground to cover. We had a birthday party to attend in the afternoon. The plan was to get the kids dressed, run out to get a gift, and spruce up the house a bit, before heading out. I was able to get my little girl’s hair shampooed and conditioned in no more than 10 minutes, including detangling.

I love that the products are light weight, easy to manage, and adds shine and moisture without making her curls feel sticky, tacky, or greasy. The curl defining lotion and gel moisturizer have become a staple. In fact, I also use them to freshen up her baby brother’s curls. In addition to being great for defining curls, CurlyKids® Haircare Products are also very affordable with each product costing about five bucks.
