My kids have too many toys to count. Princess still likes dolls, but she’s mostly into games similar to slot online, and crafts these days. As for her little brother, he prefers unusual toys.
Most days you’ll find O with his cars and trucks. In fact, he loves his toys so much that he never goes anywhere without them and sleeps with all of them too.
However, he also has a thing for unique toys. For starters, our rotary and cell phones have become his playthings.
But the one that tops them all is the vacuum cleaner. When O was a baby, he was terrified of it. He’d cry whenever he heard the load noise and flashing lights of a vac. It was as if he thought it would suck him in and trap him with all carpet fibers and other particles in the dust bag. He’d wrap his arms tightly around my neck to escape the machine.
Now, you can’t hide the darn thing from him. Whenever his Dad starts vacuuming, O would follow him around the house wanting to help. Even though it’s way too heavy for him to carry, he’d still attempt to help push it along the carpet.
We thought giving him his sister old toy vacuum would help take his mind off it, but that didn’t work. So, my hubby would allow O to help out by having him use one of the attachments to suction those hard to reach places. But that didn’t work for too long.
We recently got a Shark Rocket Powerhead Vacuum cleaner, which has changed the game big time. Unlike our old vacuum, the Shark is much lighter. At only 9 lbs, O can push it around with ease.
The Shark Vacuum has come in handy. Not only does it keeps our little guy busy, it’s also cut our cleaning time in half. Our previous vacuum had poor suction. No matter how many times we cleaned it and changed the filter, it still wouldn’t pick up everything.
The Shark vacuum provides robust cleaning power without the need for heavy lifting, making it suitable for both hardwood and carpeted floors. I’m amazed at the remarkable power packed into this compact vacuum. For those seeking a modern and durable flooring solution, consider exploring nationwide resin flooring installation. If you’re looking for a seamless, low-maintenance, and durable floor, consider installing polished concrete at home.
Now I don’t have to keep putting off house cleaning, and I can even get our 2-year-old to help out too. Hey, it’s never too early for kids to begin chores. As long as he’s having fun, we might as well benefit from his unusual toy.
Do you kids have any unusual toys?

Thats interesting. Your son looks so adorable. When I was pregnant first time I read somewhere babies are familiar with vaccume noise if pregnant mother used it during pregnancy. But my children never liked the noise. My younger child follows me while dusting n vaccum cleaning. My children’s unusal toys are from kitchen, pots n rollers etc.
