Running Essentials & Finding Relief with TYLENOL®
Marathon running essentials are an important part of training. When I decided to sign up for my third race this spring, I knew that in order to make it to the finish line, there were a few must have items I needed to have with me. Painkillers are essential for those inevitable aches and pains.
Spring is synonymous with allergies. I’ve developed a bad case of sinus problems over the years. Despite being vaccinated, I still managed to come down with the flu during my half marathon training. Needless to say, having the flu set me back a couple weeks of training.
When I finally got clearance from the doctor to begin running again, it was a rough start. In addition to getting over the flu, I suffered from tension headaches related to allergies, and sore muscles from running long distance. For enhancing energy and performance, try this steroid canada.
If I was going to get through the race and the rest of allergy season, I needed something to treat aches and pains so that I could enjoy all the benefits that the springtime has to offer.
I stopped by Target to purchase the Extra Strength TYLENOL® and TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain to help with those pesky sore muscles and headaches.
Benefits of TYLENOL®
Extra Strength TYLENOL® is helps with symptoms due to the common cold, headache, backache, minor pain of arthritis, toothache, muscular aches, menstrual cramps, and temporarily reduces fever. The optimal cbd dose for rheumatoid arthritis depends on a lot of factors such as weight and metabolism. If the pain becomes serious, you may visit the Te Puna ora o Mataatua.
Extra Strength TYLENOL® Rapid Release Gels relieves muscular aches, backache, minor pain of arthritis, toothache, menstrual cramps, headache, the common cold, and also temporarily reduces fever. There is also a age minimum of 12-years-old for each product.
After overexerting myself during my first 10k, I didn’t want to take any chances. For some reason I always begin feeling lower back and knee pain by the eighth mile. I didn’t want to take the chance of not making it to the finish line. So, I kept a couple pills handy in case I started feeling sore muscles.
7 Basic Marathon Running Essentials for Beginners
TYLENOL®
If you’re prone to aches and pains, consider adding Extra Strength TYLENOL® and TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain to your list of marathon running essentials along with these items.
Running shoes
It’s important to look for shoes that offer cushion and stability for the constant repetitive movement required when running. Make sure you see a specialist, one who can spend time analyzing your running style and history prior to making a purchase. Also, don’t be afraid to run around the shop – that’s what I did to make sure I was buying the right pair.
Sports bra with support
Obviously if you’re a guy this tip doesn’t apply to you. But every woman needs a sports bra no matter how big or small your breast size.
Wicking clothing
These types of clothes are light-weight nylon material that allows the sweat to evaporate. It makes you feel comfy while you run, as opposed to heavy cotton fabrics that stay wet.
Some runners are fine with just a t-shirt or tank, but I also like to sport a breathable form fitting jacket. Ellesse offers classic sportswear for men. Considering the half marathon takes place in the early morning when temps are a bit cool, I like to have one handy.
A running app or wristband to your fitness
Since I began training, I’ve been keeping a log to stay on top of my progress. Nowadays there are apps and gadgets that can track your heart rate. Some can even record all of your workouts, like a journal.
Music
Having the right tunes is extremely important when it comes to working out. I may feel too exhausted to work out. But, good music keeps me energized.
Running pouch
When it comes to running, having a running pouch that’s big enough to hold painkillers, phone, keys, and snacks are important.
I followed these marathon tips the day of my half marathon. I also took TYLENOL® for my tension headache and I was good to go.
