It’s not often that our family can all enjoy the same movie, especially our kids. They are different ages with different personalities. But, they are both equally excited about the How To Train Your Dragon 3 Walmart Exclusive DVD.
There’s a new dragon in this sequel and she’s a girl. We loved all the previous characters, but now we get to watch Toothless fall in love! Watching the movie wouldn’t be complete without How to Train Your Dragon merchandise from Walmart and popcorn. We decided to make green smoothies in honor of Deathgripper’s green projectile.
If you follow me on social media, then you know my family and I are plant based. When it comes to indulging on our favorite movie snacks, my husband and I like to mix healthy snacks with sweet treats. It’s just one way to teach kids how to maintain a healthy diet without overindulging.
Creating this green smoothie was simple. There’s no measuring required, which makes it super easy to make. We began by loading up as much spinach as possible in the Nutribullet.
Then add about ¼ cup of water, which makes it easier to blend. Follow up with a half of banana and about a half mango.
Finally, add in about a tablespoon each of hemp seeds and chia seeds followed by a few cubes of ice. The smoothie should be cold, thick, and smooth. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, feel free to add the other half of the banana and/or a few more chunks of mango. You can also add more water, for thinner smoothie.
This healthy treat is packed with protein, vitamin A and C, B-6, protein, magnesium, iron calcium, omega-3 fatty acids, omega 6, fiber, and antioxidants. The best part is that it tastes yummy and the kids love it.
As the mercury rises, turn this smoothie into an ice pop for a frozen treat to beat the heat on hot summer days.
