When our kids first laced up their sneakers and stepped onto the court, we had no idea what we were getting into. Like many parents, we just wanted to support their passion, keep them active, and cheer them on from the sidelines. What we didn’t realize was that we were also stepping into a new role—sports parents.

That’s why we launched our new series, What We’ve Learned as Sports Parents—to pull back the curtain and share the real-life lessons, highs and lows, and sometimes laugh-out-loud moments we’ve experienced while raising young athletes.
