The plan was to sleep in on Mother’s Day. But, for some reason my eyes popped open at 9am. I didn’t get breakfast in bed. But, that’s ok because I was still stuffed from the big dinner we had the night before. After a quick call to wish my Mom a Happy Mother’s Day, I took my butt to the gym.
By the the time I got back it was lunch time, so I devoured some left over pizza, jumped in the shower, then my hubby and I took the kids out for a walk.
There was no surprise trip to the spa. But, my little girl surprised me with a card and this spa pass.
I also didn’t get a break from my fussy kids baby or cleaning the house, even though my hubby insisted that I shouldn’t lift a finger. Despite it all, the day was all about me. I couldn’t ask for everything more and I’m looking forward to my spa day.
