Great photo ! You’re so beautiful. So leading up to my wedding 30 yrs. Ago I must’ve lost about 10-15 lbs from the stress ( and the nervous stomach). I’m probably the only person who’s had to go see a chiropractor ( in the Bahamas) on their honeymoon because of back spasms ( from the wedding stress). And Yes, real men DO cry. After the wedding ceremony, my wife & I had a few private moments and we both bawled our eyes out. Adjusting to overly intrusive & opinionated mother- in- law’s can be a VERY DIFFICULT adjustment ! Sex ? What’s that ? 🙁 it gets tough when you have 2 children in their 20’s still living at home. Thus, the importance of weekends away w/ your spouse. But marriage is a blessing, well worth any stress. To have a soul- mate, a lover, a best friend.

Awww. Yes, real men do cry. My husband and I have only taken one trip without the kids. It’ll probably be awhile until the second. But in the meantime, we schedule lunch dates without the kids from time to time. You’re right, alone time is important.
