I’m Losing My Hair!

It’s totally normal to lose over 100 strands of your hair a day.  But, it’s not normal when the back of your head looks like this:

This is quite an embarrassing picture to say the least.  But, I’ve decided to post it to illustrate how much my hair has fallen out.  I think it has a lot to do with my hormones adjusting, since giving birth.
I’m hoping that transitioning to natural will help with restoring my hair line.  Thankfully it’s at the back and not the front!

Wow, this is telling of what is going on with things. I lots so much hair after my son and it was all in the front. We are slowly growing back but it’s nerve wrecking to see the loss. I hope your transition to natural will bring more health and growth.

Awww. I know how you feel. Me too. I’m at the point now where it’s no longer shedding. The vitamins are a big help! What have you been doing?

It will grow back, but watch out for the wool coat collars. They are murder on fragile hair.

WAM, You are so brave to post such an honest picture. My hair was never great– before or after pregnancy. I am actually happy to see some gray so I can get some texture on my super fine hair. You are gorgeous, inside and out. Princess is lucky to have you!

    Love the blog.

You have o let your hair breath. If you are wearing wigs and weave and not making sure the hair under is moisturized everyday then it will dry up and break off. Also when wearing hats wear satin or silk scarves under and do not where coats or clothes wear the wool os rubbing against your hair. But please moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! spritz bottle with water, your favorite leave in, some oils like olive, castor, jojoba and aloe vera gel from fairway, spray on morning and night.

    Hi Stacy,

I was just browsing and stumbled on your blog. I am a male and suffering from hair loss for many years. I know it can feel very frustrating to see your hail fall.

In men the leading cause is male pattern baldness.

In females, the problem is most likely with the deficiency, lifestyle and hair products. I would recommend you to stay away from any new conditioner / shampoo / hair color you recently started using.

Massage olive oil in your hair daily, eat healthy vegetables and workout 3 times a week.
