I don’t know where the time went. After a brutal winter, the months have been flying by. It’s the last week of school and the kids are so excited.
It’s a good thing my hubby reminded me about getting something for the kids’ teachers. I was able to run out yesterday to pick up something for each of them. Princess and Baby O wrote out thank you cards and delivered them to all their teachers, along with a small gift.
Now that school’s out, I’m planning on kicking off our annual “Family Fun Summer Series.” We kept things local and simple last year due to our impending arrival. But, this summer we’re hoping to do a little more. Technically, we got a head start this year. We took an impromptu family trip to Florida back in April, which proved to be one to remember.
Hopefully, we’ll get to take part it more drama-free traveling adventures. It’s gonna be a tough one, though. I’m in the process of finishing up school and we also have a bunch of other things going on including, birthdays, a baptism, a wedding, and whatnot. Ugh, thinking about it gives me anxiety. For now, I’ll just enjoy the moment and take it one step at a time.
