Coping With the Stress and Guilt of trying to Balance it All

I’ve heard people say that you can get sick from stress. I wasn’t sure about it before, but I’m absolutely sure of it now. I recently watched an episode of 48 Hours, and an elderly man who had been on a mission to find his son’s killer ended up dying because of stress, according to his wife. The couple’s son died in 1969.

Investigators were able to breathe some life into the cold case after someone came forward, claiming to have witnessed the homicide. Sadly, the father died before he could see the killer go to jail. My life isn’t nearly as tragic. But, stress has taken its toll on my body. Blurry vision, neck and back pain are just some of the problems I’ve had these past few days. That said, I needed a whoosah moment and I know I’m not alone. To lessen that stress, perhaps games like W88 link can be of great help.

There are other parents out there suffering from the same exact thing. I recently wrote a post on my BabyCenter blog about trying to cope with the stress and guilt of trying to balance it all. Can you believe that one in four mothers cry because of it?

I remember working with this one guy. It was my first job in TV, and I recall being amazed at how hard he worked. He always walked into the studio with bloodshot eyes from lack of sleep. But, always maintained a positive attitude. He coached his three kids little league teams, worked the overnights, and worked a second job during the day. I used to ask him, “How the hell are you doing it all?” He responded with something along the lanes of, “when you got mouths to feed and bills you pay, you do what you can to make it work.” I knew that one day I wanted a family, and wondered if I’d be as hardworking and upbeat.

Fast forward years later, and I’m in the same boat. The only difference is I have two kids and instead of a second gig, I’m taking classes (which is sorta like a job). I’m not a little league coach, but I have the job of keeping my kiddos involved in all kinds of activities.

I have been dealing with this a lot lately. It wasn’t until reading this post that I figured I should probably write about it too.

Since leaving television and staying home with the kids, I’ve been more exhausted than ever. We don’t have a support system here (no family) and it makes it really hard. A lot of it fall on this mamas shoulders.

Yeah, I feel a post coming.
