There hasn’t been much snow this season – thank goodness. Driving in snow is not my cup of tea, cleaning it off my car isn’t something I look forward to either. But the one thing I love about the snow is seeing the look on Princess’s face when those flakes fall from the sky, turning our yard into a mini winter wonderland. It’s an experience her little brother has yet to enjoy – that is until recently. For my baby boy, seeing snow for the first time was priceless.
Technically, this is his second winter. It’s hard to count last year, since he was only an infant. So, you can imagine the look on his face upon seeing snow for the first time.
I think he’s just shocked more than anything and doesn’t want to touch it. It’s like he’s asking, “What’s all this white stuff?”
While Young O is trying to figure out why everything is covered in this cold white stuff, Princess is having fun throwing snowballs and making snow angels.
Having missed the experience first hand, I’m so glad my hubby captured this priceless moment on camera. It’s just too bad there wasn’t enough snow to take the kids sledding.
