7 Ways to Wear an Infinity Scarf

One of my daughter’s favorite accessories for fall is the infinity scarf. It keeps her warm on chilly mornings and it also adds flare to any outfit. She came up with seven ways to rock an infinity scarf.

Basic Tie Loop
Place the infinity scarf behind the head and drape each side down the front of the body. Insert one on if the loops inside of the other loop. You can actually it loosen a little bit more snug.

Double loop
Place head through the infinity circle. It should be resting resting at the back of the neck with the bulk of the scarf hanging freely in the front. Cross the scarf midway in the front and place the lower part around the neck.

Head Wrap
Start by putting hair back into a braided low ponytail. Lay infinity scarf flat against the front of the head. Feel free to leave the front edges exposed. Then twist the scarf and hair together and secure by making a knot. If you decide to sport an infinity head wrap use a satin material. Avoid fabrics like cotton, which can absorb moisture from the hair leading to dryness and possible breakage.

Hood
Place head through the loop. Follow the steps of the double loop. Pull one of the loops over the head and ears, creating a hood.

Vest
Slip arm into the loop of the fabric so that it lays flat against the shoulder. Bring the rest of the scarf on the other side and slip the other arm through the loop. You can let the access material hang freely in the back. But if you have a very busy little one, you may want to secure it in the back.

Belt
Form a double loop and place the infinity circle around the waist. Tie a knot or secure with any elastic or cute accessory.

Sash
Form a double loop. Drape scarf on one shoulder making sure the fabric lays flat. Place opposite arm through the side and allow that side to drape at the waist.
