As I mentioned, I’m working on a fun project called 30 Things My Kids Should Know About Me (in addition to my Pregnancy Diaries).
I didn’t realize the coming up with 20 random facts about myself would be such a brain teaser.
- I’m very analytical. I over think everything.
- Before deciding on journalism, I was planning on becoming a lawyer.
- I’ve kept a journal since elementary school.
- I used to be self conscious because of my heavy Jamaican accent. In fact, I barely spoke in school the first year I was in the states.
- I don’t drink or smoke (ever!)
- I have a belly ring that I’m trying desperately to hold on to. I know it’s sounds crazy. But, it’s very symbolic.
- I used to sit in the chair and rock back and forth as a kid. I know, pretty weird.
- Out of all my siblings, I’m the only a lefty.
- I’m a very loyal person.
- I’ve always been a hustler. I started working at 13!
- According to your dad, I could be a little bossy at times.
- I was a tomboy as a kid. In fact, I was the only girl on my little league baseball team.
- I used to get in trouble for talking in school. Sometimes I get in trouble for talking too much at work. Some things never change.
- I have a potty mouth. I do my BEST not to have a slip up around you.
- I spent two summers studying abroad in Spain.
- I traveled to Milan to try and become the next Naomi Campbell. Obviously, that didn’t work out. But, I did ok as a model.
- I wanted to be a great singer like Whitney Houston, until I realized I had a horrible voice.
- I am a former Miss NY.
- I competed in Jamaica for the Miss Jamaica Universe title and Jamaica Fashion Model.
- I used to volunteer as a candy striper back in the day.
