Family Summer Fun

As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ll be focusing on family fun this summer.  I’ll be highlighting kid friendly places the whole family could enjoy.  So far, we’ve been to the zoo.  But this weekend, we chose to keep it simple.  We live near the water, and decided to take Princess for a walk to our neighborhood park overlooking the Atlantic.

She had so much fun running around, playing on the monkey bars, playing on equipment with soft play design, and going down the slide.  This is the fun side of parenting.  It’s great being able to watch her enjoy herself, and spend time together.  he best part is that this trip didn’t cost a dime. Plus, it’s reassuring to know that the playground she’s playing in is not only fun but also safe, thanks to playground surfacing services from https://www.playground-surfaces.com/ that are experts in providing playground markings for schools and wet pour rubber, which is always the best option for kids’ safety.

Do you have any fun activities planned for your kiddos this summer?

Going to the pool lots! Either at home in the kiddie pool or at the pool at the gym. I love for my girls to be able to cool off in this crazy Mississippi heat. I 100% believe in loading them up with sunscreen before we go and even though it takes forever to get out of the house…. it’s worth it. They also take the best naps after we get home. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey, Thanks for visiting my blog! I love baby makin machine. Your blog is lovely as well ๐Ÿ™‚ I haven’t taken my son many places yet. It’s so hot here in Arizona. A trip to the zoo or park would leave us in heat exhaustion. I’m making a list of indoor activities we can enjoy.

Yay! Your post got posted! One of Princess’s friends mom and I are planning a play date that will involve sprinklers. Can’t wait! I’m big on sunscreen too! Don’t you love how all that running around knocks them right out.

It is. They have a pretty sturdy gate up. But, I’m still paranoid about being close to the water. I guess that’t why I have her enrolled in swimming to conquer my fears. It’s weird, I know. lol

I love BMM too! I consider Jen to be a friend, even though we really don’t get to hang out. lol I bet it’s pretty hot in AZ. We were in Vegas not too long ago, and we enjoyed the dry heat.

Do you have those “splash pads” near you? We’ve got some really cool water parks here in our town, the water comes up over the play area and has lots of dumping buckets and sprinklers and water shooters. The kids love it.

    Looks like a great day!

She seems like a very happy baby! It’s a nice thing to be able to maximize the places near your place which are great and safe for recreation. You don’t really have to pay earned bucks just for a simple playground or service, right? ๐Ÿ™‚

I saw your entry in SITS and would love to get to know more about you through your blog. It’s so cool that you’re a weather anchor (is that true or just a name for your blog?) ๐Ÿ™‚
